Position Description: The UAADC Deputy Director manages multiple grants and the program income from the Business Loan Fund. This role supports the Upper Arkansas Area Development Corporation in helping local businesses grow and in strengthening economic development across the Central Colorado region.
Requirements: Associate degree in business administration, marketing, finance, or a similar field. A minimum of five (5) years of experience in lending or marketing is preferred, or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have a valid Colorado driver's license and vehicle insurance. Must be able to pass a background check.

JOB SUMMARY
The UAADC Deputy Director manages multiple grants and the program income from the Business Loan Fund.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Administer the Enterprise Zone (EZ) program for the Central Colorado region.
- Approve state tax credits for businesses and nonprofit donors.
- Manage applications and approvals for nonprofit contribution projects, and reach out to Chambers of Commerce, economic development groups, and other partners to promote use of the program.
- Host Central Front Range (CFR) Transportation Planning Region (TPR) meetings and report to the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) as required.
- Handle meeting announcements, support for online participation, minutes, and agendas, including publishing minutes and reports on the TPR page of the UAACOG website and uploading videos to the CFR TPR YouTube channel.
- Support the UAADC Director with Business Loan Fund marketing, processing, and underwriting.
- Maintain strong product knowledge and market the loan fund to many of the same partners as the Enterprise Zone program.
Other duties include the following:
- Represent the Agency in a professional manner at all times.
- Attend meetings and events as required. Some may be held after business hours.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Executive Director or designee.

QUALIFICATIONS – To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS – Must be able to read, type, see, hear, and speak both in person and over the telephone. The position may require long periods of sitting while traveling and attending meetings.
