Project Description

The Upper Arkansas Area Council of Governments (UAACOG) is seeking proposals from qualified consultant teams to lead the development of a multi-jurisdictional Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Comprehensive Safety Action Plan for the Colorado municipalities of Brookside, Coal Creek, Florence, Rockvale, Silver Cliff, Westcliffe, and Williamsburg.

The project is funded through a USDOT Safe Streets and Roads for All planning grant. The consultant component is budgeted at $275,000 (not to exceed). Work includes public engagement, existing conditions analysis, safety strategy development, high-priority project descriptions, performance monitoring, and a final Safety Action Plan report.

Anticipated Notice to Proceed: June 1, 2026. Draft Safety Action Plan due by June 30, 2027. Final deliverables due by July 31, 2027.
