FULL-TIME POSITION JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

Announcement Date: July 7, 2025
Position Title: Teacher's Assistant
Program: Fremont County Head Start
Contact: May fill out application at the Main Office - 1718 Brookside, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday
Hours: 40 hours per week with benefits (including health insurance, annual/sick leave, holiday pay)
Rate of Pay: $16.00-$17.50 per hour
Closing Date: When filled

Position Description: Assist the Head Start Teacher in the classroom by interacting with children to enhance the development of their social and emotional development. Assure a clean and safe environment for children, ride the bus to and from the center with the children. Keep records of parents and community volunteers in the classroom.

Requirements: High School Diploma/GED. Verified Experience in a Child Care Setting or Volunteer hours in an early childhood setting such as Head Start, preferred. Willing to attend training to receive Level 1 Quality Shines credential.
